The Florida Diagnostic & Learning
Resources System of Heartland (FDLRS/Heartland) provides diagnostic,
instructional, and technology support services to district
exceptional education programs and families of students with
disabilities.
Florida Diagnostic & Learning
Resources System of Heartland (FDLRS/Heartland) is one of
nineteen associate centers developed by the Florida
Department of Education, Bureau of Exceptional Education &
Student Services and funded through federal dollars and
state general revenue money.
FDLRS provides
services under the four main functions:

The network has supported educators, families and
agencies working with children with disabilities and special
needs for over twenty years.
The FDLRS Heartland Associate Center
is located in Lake Placid, Florida and serves Desoto,
Glades, Hendry and Highlands Counties. |
