Once web pages became truly content interactive the web was designated Web2.0
Web 2.0
Web 2.0 includes the following characteristics.
1. Content is created on the fly (applications are web based)
2. Content reflects group thinking or social networking
3. Content is multi-representational, including text, audio, graphics, video, etc.
4. Content engagement can occur on multiple platforms, e.g. computer, cell phone, etc.
5. Content sometimes comes to you
In general, Web 2.0 recognizes that we have moved from the Web being a place to find information to it being an environment we work with others in to think, create, share, change our society, and change the world.
